Masterworks

Masterworks are large-scale paintings of notable complexity and depth. The first example, Ghost Ranch Synchrony, is a substantial piece that explores both the vastness of the landscape and the intricate terrain of the artist’s psycho-spiritual life. Rich with symbolic imagery and transparent layers, the painting invites viewers into a meditation on meaning and transformation.

The wine bottle symbolizes Grace, while the glass represents the conscious choice to partake—to dive into experience. Chessboards reflect the mental realm, here embodying a dynamic tension between capitalism, spirituality, and organized religion. The nautilus shell evokes the theme of evolution, while the open book, titled Evillusion, merges the concepts of evolution and illusion. (One viewer noted that the word begins with “evil,” though that’s purely coincidental.)

A web of symbols, movements, and images overlap and intertwine across the canvas, creating a multi-dimensional experience best appreciated in person. If you’re in Northern California, consider reaching out to collector Robert Schultz, who may be open to arranging a private viewing.

Revelation of the Heart

Measuring 6 by 5 feet, Revelation of the Heart presents a powerful synthesis of Christ and Buddha—embodying the contemplative, inward-turning seeker and the sacrificial altar of transformation. The River of Time flows through the composition, converging with the Glass of Life in a stark, symbolic desert—the barren landscape of existence where spirit and mortality meet. This piece invites quiet reflection on the sacred journey within.

Ghost Ranch Synchrony II

This piece, Ghost Ranch Synchrony II: The Rhythm of the Earth, is a sequel to the original Ghost Ranch Synchrony. Measuring 7 feet wide by 4 feet high, this oil on panel work carries forward the spirit of the first painting while offering a more refined and contemplative interpretation—less wild, yet deeply resonant.
